After redoing the kitchen and living room, I still wanted to redo my room. It had been the same color with the same boarder that my dad had picked out for it a long time (it was his room then)...its been that way since I was in middle school. So I picked out a color and the two weeks I had free in between summer classes I decided to work on it. It took two coats of the Montego Bay color and I put a fresh coat of white paint on the ceiling. I realize now that I was crazy for doing it then between working two jobs and starting an online class, but I am glad now that I have it done. I started a summer lecture last week so it has been a weekend project getting everything moved back in. It does feel really good knowing that my closet and room are clean and reorganized. My closet honestly took more time to go through and reorganize than my room did. I don't know when the last time was that everything had been taken out and the closet cleaned. Later I had one of my friends come over and help me rearrange the furniture. I feel now like I have a totally different room. Unfortunately some of it still has to be moved back from Murray, but I am trying to leave those places empty so all I will have to do when I move back is to just stick things right in their place. I can't wait to get completely moved in so that I can fully enjoy my new room.
