SUMMER

The past week has flown by. I have just finished up my summer classes and now have a temporary addition to the house. One of my friends has a pit bull pup that needed a place to stay until she can get moved into another apartment. Summer is only 3 months old and can be full of energy. She is lazy most of the time but will get bursts of energy that usually gets her into trouble. The cats have started to come around her more but keep their distance. She loves cats but they haven't exactly been welcoming to her energy and slobbery kisses. I love her personality. She is willing to please but easily gets distracted. We have been working on sit, down, stay, heal, and crawl. She has mastered the sit and is getting close to perfecting her "stay" but the others still need a bit more work. She loves to eat rocks, dirt, sticks, and moths which keeps me busy when we are outside. I have enjoyed having her to travel with although she sleeps and snores the whole way where ever we go.
